Orbie Glaub (Graff)
Orbie Jean Glaub, 59, of Carterville and formerly of Murphysboro, passed away at 7:18 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, Illinois.
Orbie was born on July 31, 1958, in Carbondale, Illinois to Herman and Betty (Dean) Graff.
She enjoyed collecting beanie babies and she loved her kittens and dogs. She was very family oriented. She loved her children and husband very much and helped to take care of her mom and dad.
Mrs. Glaub was a cook at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale for several years.
Orbie married Ryan Glaub on July 29, 1983, in Murphysboro, and he survives in Carterville.
Other survivors include two daughters Amber Cluck and Kimberly Glaub and her fiancée Lucas Emmons, all of Carterville;
one brother Lyndal (Denise) Graff of Marion, two sisters Joyce Thomas of Logan, IL and Vickie (Bryan) Hollman of Murphysboro;
her father and mother in law Jerry and Barb Glaub, Springfield, IL;
two sisters in law Lori (Tom) Kohlrus of Springfield, and Keri "Angie" Walters of Lincoln, IL;
three brothers in law Scott (Sue) Glaub, Vince Glaub, and Alex (Liz) Glaub, all of Springfield, IL;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother in law Chester Thomas and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Josemon Hoem officiating and burial at Murdale Gardens of Memory.
