Names and Locations of Cemeteries

Starting location is Murphysboro unless otherwise stated.  Most Cemeteries are in Jackson County; however, because the funeral home has buried in surrounding counties, some of Perry, Williamson, and Union County Cemetery directions are included in the list.

  • Alto Pass Cemetery (Union County): Going south on Route 127, the cemetery is located on the right, on a hill just before entering Alto Pass.
  • American Legion Cemetery (Dongola, Union County): Out of Carbondale take Route 51 south, take the Dongola exit, go into Dongola, turn right on Old Route 51, and cemetery is on the left as you go up the hill.
  • Anna City Cemetery (Anna, Union County): Out of Carbondale, take Route 51 South to and turn right on Brady Mill Road and follow this road directly to cemetery.
  • Barham Cemetery (Marion, Williamson County): Going on Route 13, turn north on Route 37 in Marion. Then turn right in the first road in the cemetery, Barham Cemetery is in the far southeast corner of Rose Hill Cemetery near the railroad track.
  • Barrow Cemetery: At Campbell Hill going north on Route 4 turn West onto Brick Plant Rd, go to Sickmeyer Rd and turn South, then go to Calvary Cemetery Rd and turn East. Cemetery will be on the right.
  • Bartlett Cemetery: Going South out of Ava on Third Street (also known as the Ava Blacktop) the cemetery is just past Carson Rd on the right on the Ava Blacktop. (From Murphysboro on the Ava Blacktop, the cemetery is located on the left .9 of a mile west of WXAN Radio Station.)
  • Beasley Cemetery: Going East out of Murphysboro on Route 149, before you get to DeSoto turn South on Bowlby Rd and continue until the road dead ends. This Cemetery is on private property.
  • Birkner Cemetery: Going East out Ava on Route 4 turn North on South Sato Rd, in Sato turn East on Beaucoup Rd, and cemetery is on left side of the road just past Stout Ln.
  • Blairsville Cemetery (Williamson County): From Murphysboro, going east on Route 149, turn right at the junction of Route 184  Cemetery is a mile and a half down the road on the right.
  • Boskydell Cemetery: Going south out of Carbondale on Route 51, instead of taking the new Route 51, take the old Route 51 which is South Illinois Ave., turn east on Boskydell Road.  Follow road eastward and cemetery is down the road on the right.
  • Bostick Cemetery: From Murphysboro going South on Route 127 turn West on Orchard Hill Rd. Continue on Orchard Hill rd making several sharp turns, Bostick Cemetery is on the left hand side of the road.(After Bostick Cemetery Poplar Ridge Cemetery is Located just down the road on the right hand side.)
  • Boucher Cemetery: Going North out of Murphysboro on Route 13 and 127, turn left on West Harrison Rd continue on this road crossing 14th Street and cemetery is located on the right hand side about a half mile past 14th Street.  
  • Bradley Cemetery (Perry County): Going north on 127 to the intersection of Rt 152, turn left toward Pyramid State Park, go 8.7 miles. (This is past Cottom Cemetery, past the settlement of Denmark, and past Pyramid Sate park Denmark Unit Road.)  The next road is Bradley Cemetery Road. It is a green Street sign on the north side of road.  Turn south and cemetery is .1 of mile on the right with a fence around it.
  • Brown Cemetery: (In Randolph County) Going North on Route 3 after passing the Cora turnoff to the left and entering Randolph County turn right on Gun Club Road this road makes a large horseshoe back toward Route 3 and Brown Cemetery is located on the left hand side of the road as you turn back toward Route 3.
  • Buchanan Cemetery: Going North on Route 3 Before you get to the Cora turnoff turn right on Hog Hill Rd Buchanan Cemetery is located several miles down this road on the left.
  • Calvary Cemetery: In Campbell Hill turn South onto Main Street then turn right onto Railroad Ave and then turn left onto Walnut Street which will change names into Calvary Cemetery. Follow this road to outside the city limits and Calvary Cemetery will be on the left.
  • Camp Creek Cemetery: Going north on Route 127, turn west on Ava Blacktop, go to S. Mudline Road turn north, go to Camp Creek Road and turn east.  Cemetery is down this road on the left.
  • Casper Cemetery: Going out of Cobden, continue 4 miles south on Old Route 51, turn left at sign, then go 1 mile and cemetery is on the left.
  • Central or Central Church Cemetery: Going North out of DeSoto on Route 51 Turn left Traux Traer Rd follow road and turn left onto Township Line rd cemetery is located about half a mile on the left.
  • Cheatham Cemetery: Going West out of Ava on Route 4 turn left on Tanner Rd cemetery is on private property located on right hand side of road.
  • Christ Lutheran Cemetery: Going south on Rte 3 from the 149 Jct turn west on Gorham Rd which changes names to Nuenert Rd. Turn south on Brunkhorst Rd and cemetery is on the right.
  • City Cemetery: In Murphysboro located on North 14th Street on right hand side of road, when going North.
  • Crab Orchard Church Cemetery: Going East out of Murphysboro on Old Route 13, just past Pleasant Grove Memorial Park turn South on Country Club Rd follow road and turn right on W Pleasant Hill Rd. Cemetery is about a half mile down on the right. (This Cemetery is more commonly known as Hiller Cemetery)
  • Crain Cemetery: Going west out of Murphysboro on Route 149, turn north on Route 3 and cemetery is located behind Crain Baptist Church on the right hand side of road.
  • Creath Cemetery: Going West out of Murphysboro on Route 149 cemetery is located on private property just north of the Grimsby Rd turnoff.
  • Creek Paum Cemetery: Going North out of Vergennes Turn West on Beaucoup Rd then turn North on North Mudline Rd. Then turn West on McKenny Rd turn North on Creek Paum Rd Cemetery is located down the road on the right.(We have routed you this way due to mine closing Creek Paum Rd at intersection of Beaucoup Rd)
  • Davis Cemetery: In Dowell turn left onto Union ave off of Rte 51 turn left onto West Rd turn right onto Dowell Rd and turn left onto House Rd. Cemetery is located on the left.
  • DeSoto Cemetery: In DeSoto turn South off of Rte 149 onto Ash St cemetery is located several blocks down the road on the right.
  • Dillinger Cemetery: Going North out of Carbondale on Rte 51 turn left on Airport Rd. Cemetery is located about a mile down the road on the left.
  • Ditzler Cemetery: Going East out of Ava on Rte 4, turn North onto South Sato Rd, turn right onto Bates Rd and Cemetery is located on the right hand side on the second sharp turn.
  • Dutch Ridge Cemetery: Going south on Route 127, turn east on Dutch Ridge Road, follow road and where road makes a sharp left hand turn, cemetery is to the right and straight ahead.
